We were grateful to attend the sold-out International Women's Day (IWD) High Tea event on Tuesday hosted by NAWIC NSW and sponsored by the NSW Government, MPA and Taylor | Australia.The great debate on "pay transparency is a game changer for women in the workplace" began with a fantastic Welcome to Country, followed by an insightful introduction by Tom Gellibrand | Chief Executive Officer at Infrastructure NSW. We then heard from an esteemed panel including Jessica G Evans, Shehani Weragama, Matt Stevens PhD FAIB, Kristi McLachlan GAICD, Belinda Bentley, Adrian Dwyer, Natalie Devlin and Daisy Bryant, moderated by award-winning journalist, author and presenter Catherine Fox AM.Both sides raised excellent points on the topic of pay transparency. However,the real game-changer is what we do to address gender disparity at every stage of life. It's changing our beliefs. It's holding all of us accountable and supporting the people and initiatives capable of driving real change in our workplaces and communities.It starts with you. Me. Them.
