Not looking for a career in Leisure
If you are not looking for a career in the Leisure industry, don't worry many of the soft skills and experiences you have gained as a lifeguard with Camp America are transferable to other industries or can be used in further education. Here are a few you could consider adding to your CV:

Planning on going to university?
The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is a Level 3 qualification, which means that it is registered with UCAS and worth 8 UCAS Tariff points.
Complete other RLSS UK qualifications
If you enjoyed completing the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), then you may want to consider expanding your knowledge and skills by completing other RLSS UK qualifications. You could consider a career in training other lifeguards for example.

More things to consider
NPLQ Renewal
Your NPLQ must be renewed within two years of the date on the certificate and requires 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). By joining our benefit-based RLSS UK Lifeguard Membership(£18 annual), you can access e-learning CPD, which is great for earning hours towards renewing your lifeguard qualification. Don't wait too long to prepare for renewal.
