Real Madrid has unveiled its attire for the 2023-2024 season, revealing notable changes in their new kit. The main novelty lies in the introduction of a gold color, which complements the predominant white and incorporates unprecedented details such as gold and navy blue trims and stripes. Additionally, the inscription “¡Hala Madrid!” is featured on the back of the neck of the shirt. During the official presentation of the kit, Jude Bellingham became the first player to showcase it as a fresh member of the Merengue club, joining the likes of Vinicius, Alaba, Valverde, and Kroos in the campaign.

True to form, the German multinational has released two versions of the kit: the Authentic edition priced at 150 euros ($165), and the fan edition typically worn by supporters available at 100 euros ($110). There are also other models available, one specifically for women, long-sleeved options, and kits for younger fans. According to Adidas, this kit “embodies 121 years of history, a legacy that belongs to the worldwide family of Madridistas who have made it possible.”

This garment is an exact replica of the one worn by professional footballers during matches. Although not currently available for purchase, the version showcased by players in advertisem*nts features the FIFA Champions Crest. This emblem is awarded to the victorious teams of the Club World Cup organized by the international federation and Los Blancos have proudly worn it on four occasions in the past.

While it may initially seem similar to the Authentic model, the fan jersey, which is officially licensed, differs from the player-worn version in terms of fabric and other details. The fan jersey maintains a fitted cut, but the predominant material used is polyester (100%), replacing the jacquard fabric.
Additionally, instead of the HEAT.RDY technology, it features AEROREADY technology as an alternative. These variations in fabric and technology contribute to a slightly different structure and performance of the garment, catering to the specific needs and preferences of fans.

In contrast, the crest and other motifs on the fan jersey are sewn on instead of being heat transferred. This meticulous sewing technique ensures high-quality detailing on the jersey. The fabric of it retains the ribbed collar and cuffs, the longer back hem, and the “¡Hala Madrid!” inscription, just like the player version.
However, the fan jersey is designed to be more relaxed, intended for day-to-day wear rather than sports competition, ensuring comfort and a fresh look for fans.
